AGORA NAUTIC is an acrylic fabric, developed and produced by a renowned weaving factory with a 80-year long experience in the awnings industry. AGORA NAUTIC has been carefully tested in order to stand out as a resistant waterproof fabric, suitable for the marine environment.
40 colours are available in 153 cm wide but the collection has been enlarged to meet the upholsterer’s rising need to work on fabrics of larger dimensions. Therefore, 12 new colours are now available in 200-cm-wide. AGORA NAUTIC is made in two different versions: “NORMAL” and “SPECIAL”.

The AGORA NAUTIC warranty covers an abnormal deterioration of the fabric fibre and colour and takes effect under a normal exposure to the sun and at the atmospheric agents. The correct use and maintenance is clearly explained in the specific informative form (on request).
Agora Nautic – Normal
“NORMAL” version has been slightly treating treated with a waterproof Teflon compound during the production process , with no other resin finishing in addition. It permit to obtain a fabric with an high breathability and a good waterproof features. It is recommended when water can easily slide away and there is no need for an extreme sealing up of the covered area.

Agora Nautic – Special (Resinato)
“SPECIAL” version features a strong water resistance, thanks to the application of a special resin layer at the late stage of production. This version was studied for the complete sealing of the cockpit and fly-bridge, and for every kind of coverings where a totally waterproof feature is requested to prevent the water drip inside the covered area.
